Marsha Meyer to Share Insights Based on SCAN Independence at Home C-MEDS Program
SCAN, a leading senior-focused organization with the mission of keeping seniors healthy and independent, today announced that Marsha Meyer, Pharm.D., will present on improving medication safety for seniors at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement/National Patient Safety Foundation (IHI/NPSF) Patient Safety Congress, on May 25 in Boston, Mass. Meyer, director of Independence at Home (IAH), a SCAN community service, will share insights related to aging and the use of medications, associated risks and the role of the caregiver in supporting medication adherence.
