Caremark Pharmacy Services (formerly Caremark''s pharmacy services businesses and those of CVS subsidiary PharmaCare) cares about keeping medicine affordable. The prescription benefits management division of CVS/Caremark (formerly CVS), Caremark Pharmacy Services designs and administers the drug coverage programs of thousands of corporate, managed care, government, and union health plans. It operates a national network of some 60,000 retail pharmacies and mail-order offices through which health plan members buy drugs, often at discounts that Caremark negotiates with their makers.
