Noridian Hires Experienced Medicaid Professional to Manage Iowa Contract
FARGO, N.D. (Aug. 11, 2022) – Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a leader in developing solutions for federal, state and commercial health care programs, has hired Harish Chhatlani, a skilled state health program professional, as the account manager of the Iowa Medicaid contract. As manager, Chhatlani will continue to provide exceptional customer service to Iowa and deliver innovative solutions to ensure the success of the state’s Medicaid program.

This will be crucial in helping to further our already strong operations and customer service. We’re thrilled to have him back on our team.”
As the account manager, Chhatlani will oversee the daily operations of the Iowa Medicaid contract to help ensure the program can continue to successfully serve its members. He will also lead his team to identify new opportunities to reduce operating costs, improve process improvements and implement technology solutions. Additionally, Chhatlani will develop and monitor budgets and ensure strong internal controls and compliance programs.
As an IT professional, Chhatlani joins Noridian with more than 20 years of experience developing technology solutions for health and human services programs including Medicaid, SNAP and TANF. At his most recent role as the IT manager of Iowa Department of Human Services, he oversaw the income maintenance and integrated eligibility systems. Prior to that role, Chhatlani worked as a contractor to Noridian on the Iowa Medicaid contract for 13 years. In this position, he worked on the implementation of enterprise technology solutions to achieve optimum automation and created enhancements for the state’s Medicaid program’s major systems.

Chhatlani has a master’s degree in business administration and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Nagpur in Maharashtra, India. He also has his Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Scum Master (CSM) certifications. Chhatlani resides in Des Moines, Iowa.
