Health Alliance and Trent Frazier engage community in healthy living

Champaign, Ill. – After nearly a year of partnership, Health Alliance Medical Plans™ is wishing Big Ten basketball player Trent Frazier continued success in his next chapter. Frazier joined the leading insurance provider to share information and tips intended to help anyone live a healthier lifestyle. From cooking demonstrations for favorite recipes, to workout tutorials, to elite athlete tips, the Big Ten All-Defensive Team player helped encourage the community to prioritize health and wellness.

Frazier’s passion for health and wellness aligned with Health Alliance’s focus on giving members the tools and resources needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

“When we began looking for a partner to help engage the community in our wellness initiatives, it was clear early on that Trent was aligned in so many ways,” Jana Perry, vice president of strategy and marketing at Health Alliance said. “Health Alliance is not only committed to offering customizable and value-driving health plans, but aims to help those we serve move toward healthier living in a variety of ways.”

Over the past several months, Frazier appeared on Health Alliance and Hally® platforms, facilitated virtual and in-person community events and engaged with his own networks to share the impact of making healthy choices and the benefits of insurance when focusing on health.

“It’s been a really great experience to have been a part of the work Health Alliance is doing to improve the health of members and the community,” Frazier said. “As I close this chapter, I hope to continue to be able to share my passion for health and wellness and make an impact with as many people as possible. I appreciate everyone at Health Alliance for working with me to help share that experience in a new way.”

As Frazier moves on to the next phase of his career, Health Alliance is grateful for his collaboration and partnership. His involvement helped connect more people to a healthier lifestyle.

“We know there are so many things in life that can make prioritizing one’s health a challenge,” Perry said. “At Health Alliance, we are working to make insurance another tool toward reaching your health goals and ensuring families have the resources they need to thrive.”
