Humana Health Equity Trailblazer Dr. Nwando Olayiwola’s Journey to Understanding Inequity
Dr. Nwando Olayiwola, Chief Health Equity Officer at Humana, sits down with Katie Couric Media for a conversation around how social determinants of health, such as food access and housing, affect people in their wellness journey, and how Humana is creating meaningful and healthy experiences for people in our communities.
Dr. O and Katie also discuss the importance of having a supportive network when you need it. Dr. O tells the story of how a Humana nurse case manager brought together much needed resources for a family with a newborn who was in need of help.
