Isabel Healthcare’s (Isabel) Symptom Checker will be integrated into the QuestionDoctors.com (QDc) platform to facilitate enhanced communication between consumer users and QDc providers. The integration will be done with Isabel’s API providing a seamless consumer experience for educating, enhancing and facilitating meaningful dialogue with the QDc providers about their symptoms.
Isabel Healthcare and QuestionDoctors.com announced today their partnership to make the Isabel Symptom Checker available to all users of their crowdsourced network of physician services. The Isabel Symptom Checker is uniquely positioned for the telemedicine/telehealth space as it is medically validated and empowers consumers with information to understand their symptoms, get information about diseases and assists with getting to the correct care setting. The Isabel Symptom Checker is the only consumer tool that allows input with free text natural language (not forcing the user to a pick list of symptoms, a cumbersome avatar or to answer 25 to 35 questions). Each diagnosis provided is also linked to consumer level medical information, providing the user with up to date, and understandable information.
