The US Oncology Network (The Network) hosted its second annual boot camp last month in Dallas, focusing on various value-based care delivery and reimbursement models. The intensive two-day workshop brought together more than 100 key stakeholders and thought leaders in value-based care, including physicians, clinical staff, quality leads, and executive leaders from The US Oncology Network affiliated practices across the nation. Participants shared best practices and lessons learned from participation in emerging payment models, with a focus on the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation’s Oncology Care Model, the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and other alternative value-based programs.
