Amerigroup Completes Acquisition of University Health Plans in New Jersey

Amerigroup Corporation (NYSE: AGP) today announced that its New Jersey health plan has completed the previously announced acquisition of certain assets of University Health Plans. The acquisition is effective March 1, 2010. Amerigroup Community Care of New Jersey now serves approximately 156,000 members.
