Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP) was founded in 1995 as a Medicaid Prepaid Health Service Plan in New York State. Its product lines also include Family Health Plus and Child Health Plus. In 2005 NHP expanded its product line to include Medicare Advantage and in 2006 they implemented a Medicare Part D drug program. NHP’s service area includes Manhattan and the five boroughs. Royal Health Care is its affiliated management services organization.
