Evidence Reports
ECRI Institute evidence reports give health plans, insurers and integrated delivery systems a 360-degree perspective of healthcare technologies and services through a synthesis of the evidence on clinical efficacy, but also in many other areas. Reports include context on competing and complementary technologies, regulatory status, training/credentialing issues, coding and payment information, clinical guidelines, and costs. Statistical analyses of the evidence are conducted whenever sufficient data are available. When evidence is sparse, we provide a systematic qualitative review so that you know what is known and not known about a technology or service.
Health Technology Forecast
ECRI Institute’s Forecast database helps health plans and insurers stay informed about technologies and services on the horizon with unbiased perspectives, predictions, technology profiles, thought leader interviews, and insights. The continually updated service covers emerging technologies in the hottest clinical areas, including radiology and imaging, bariatric services, oncology, orthopedics, cardiovascular services, genomics and proteomics, and pain management.
Health Technology Trends
ECRI Institute’s executive monthly newsletter, Health Technology Trends, provides you with rigorous and unbiased research on the most current technology adoption and implementation trends. Focused articles cover emerging medical technologies addressing technology’s impact on staffing, cost-control measures, training, and reimbursement and regulatory status issues.
Hotline Response and Personal Consultation
ECRI Institute’s multidisciplinary research staff is at your disposal for a quick roadmap to the literature about a technology. Send us your question; together we discuss your request and what we can accomplish to meet your needs and schedule.
